Galleries

Each individual sees something a little different in each abstract piece. This collaboration between me and the person viewing the art is what I love about what I do. I can suggest what I see in the work and even give further ideas in the narrative, but it is you that ultimately interprets it. And that is what makes it special! Each of these galleries contain my latest abstract art. You may choose fine art prints or originals.

And if you use Safari on your phone, you can do a LIVE PREVIEW of my work on your wall to see how it will look!

MIXED MEDIA PAINTINGS

Almost all my paintings are mixed media, meaning I have used more than just paint. I often use charcoal pencil, ink, pastels, collage papers, fabric, and even found objects. I have also experimented with 3-dimentional paintings that I call Standing Stones.

COLLAGRAPHS AND MONOTYPES

A collagraph is created by using a printmaking technique that involves building textures on a rigid plate, inking it up, and putting it through a press. I love this process because it enables me to recycle cereal boxes, packaging, and other bits into abstract wonders. A monotype is more painterly, letting me involve mark making on a polished plate and then continuing to print, possibly adding paper or fabric (chine colle) or other designs.

HANDMADE ARTIST BOOKS

Artist Books is a genre of art where the book is the work of art. It may or may not look like a typical book or even open like a traditional book, but it will have elements of a book and be defined by its structure, content, or form. Artist books now take many forms crossing conventional boundaries and often combine several modes to create something unique.
